Comment:
A deciduous species from 4 found in Northern and Central America.
The form 'pendula' has not been officially recognised but it is hoped some nursery may propagate it as no better weeping trees exist.
Although some N. sylvatica turn every shade of red, orange and yellow in the autumn 'pendula' only manages yellow.
It should be compared with the young type species growing beside it.
